Admissions Processes
Limited Enrollment Admission Process
Limited enrollment programs have a set number of available seats but are not classified as high demand. Admission is granted on a first-qualified basis* until all accepted and alternate seats are filled. To qualify, applicants must meet all admission requirements and criteria.
*Exception: Post-Associate Certificate Programs
WCC students currently enrolled in the final year of a prerequisite associate degree program are granted priority admission and continued enrollment, provided they apply by the priority deadline.
- These students will be considered for a seat based on the date their application was received, even if final admission requirements are still in progress during the semester before the program begins.
- Students who miss the priority deadline will forfeit their priority status.
- After the priority deadline, admission continues on a first-qualified basis until all accepted and alternate seats are filled.
Competitive Admissions Process
The competitive admission process applies to programs classified as high demand, where the number of qualified applicants exceeds available seats.
- Applicants must meet all admission requirements and criteria.
- Admission is based on a point system, and those with the highest rankings are selected.
