About Susan Ruellan
Hello! I am a Learning Experience Designer - Non-Credit in CiTL. I design online courses
for Corporate Training and Lifelong Learning as well as academic courses for adult
learners at Washtenaw Community College. I advocate for online learners to have the
best learning experience possible with a focus on quality assurance. I am a certified
Peer Reviewer for online courses in higher education and community learning with Quality
Matters.
I have developed curricula and instructed in online, virtual, and traditional learning environments throughout my career in post-secondary education. My experience in the instruction of English as a Second Language at all levels of proficiency and all language skills, French language and culture instruction, and corporate training provide me with diverse perspectives on the learning experience. I have provided leadership for testing and assessment, and writing centers. I have also served as a mentor teacher for graduate students in TESOL.
