About Nanette Knox
Nannette Knox serves as the Academic Success Coordinator at Washtenaw Community College, helping to lead the college's Advance Washtenaw initiative to support dual enrollment and adult enrollment in mobility-focused careers. In this role, she is dedicated to supporting students in achieving their educational and personal goals.
She began her career with the college in 2004 as a part-time employee and has since contributed in a variety of roles, including Operations Specialist and Executive Secretary. While serving as Executive Secretary, Nannette was also selected as the president of the OPTA union, where she represented and advocated for colleagues, strengthening communication and collaboration across the campus community.
Over the years, Nannette has developed a reputation for delivering excellent customer service, fostering people-centered relationships, and leading with passion and adaptability. She has extensive experience in program management, event planning, and team collaboration, all focused on creating meaningful opportunities for student growth and success.
Nannette holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Student Affairs. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, she remains committed to ensuring that every learner at WCC feels supported, valued, and equipped to succeed.
